reading this article on lifehacker has fueled my motivation to JUST FINISH IT. there are so many half finished projects sitting around in my room, tossed aside because somehow they weren’t turning out the way i had envisioned. i’ve decided to go back and finish each project, starting with these guys (from a while back). ideas are so perfect when they’re in my head, it’s easy to just keep them there so they’re safe from turning into a piece of lame in reality… but i must keep reminding myself that when it comes to art, my brain is not an idea container, it’s an idea processor. hopefully, getting into the habit of finishing things will help me to someday close the (currently HUGE) gap between the aweseomeness in my head and the final product. no starting new things until i finish a project!! gogogo!
